剧中，由Eric Stoltz饰演Howard Thomas，一位愤世嫉俗的小报记者；Sam Neill 饰演运输大亨Eric Benirall；Lou Diamond Phillips饰演Meeno Paloma，沉船事件中唯一的幸存者，不幸地是失去了部分记忆；Catherine Bell 饰演深海资源工程师Emily Patterson；Bruce Davison饰演通灵者；Stan Lathem饰演勇于冒险的气象学教授。
