　　凯文曾经在《非常嫌疑犯》中扮演过一名假扮跛子深藏不露的罪犯形象，并因为该片而获得当年度的奥斯卡最佳男配角金像奖。这次凯文一改猥琐形象，出演一名魅力非凡的黑帮头子迈克·林奇。这位教父热爱自己的两个妻子，孩子，自己的家庭，也乐于帮助那些穷人，不过他目无法纪，公然与法律对抗，警察、国际刑警、甚至其他犯罪团伙都对他恨之入骨，但又无可奈何。不过迈克的一次错误决定让一心想将迈克绳之于法的警察诺艾尔看到了一丝希望，这时迈克也意识到了自己的困境，并想出了应对之策......
